Vice Premier demands better Yangtze waterway development - WUHAN, April 24 (Xinhua) Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli has called for better development of the "golden waterway" on the Yangtze River.  The Yangtze River economic belt is important as it promises coordinated development along the river and helps protect the environment, Zhang said during a visit to Wuhan City in central China's Hubei province.

Heavily polluting vehicles to be pulled off the roads - April 22, 2015, Wednesday  HEAVILY polluting vehicles, referred to as “yellow label” vehicles, will be off the roads from October, Shanghai Transport Commission announced yesterday.
